LOL... You can't compare Messi and Ronaldo with players such as Cavani. Messi and Ronaldo are absolute legends. They are the best of the best. Suarez, Modric.etc had their small periods of fame, but they haven't managed to keep their form continuously. And we can say with 100% confidence that Messi and Ronaldo can single-handedly win matches for their teams. How many of the other players have this capability? Without support from the other players, how many of them can win matches for their teams?
I don't know about Cavani, but I remember Suarez having a few moments like that, in which he would basically just win the match by himself.
Also, I'm not sure Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will perform at their peak in this World Cup, as they're already almost retired. Still amazing players, but not sure they're at their peak today.
