He looks confident there that he thinks he sees the future of this coin but in reality, he is only an ordinary person like us that is only speculating. If only he knew that there will be a bear that will take place this year, he won't buy last year but I think what he did there is not wrong since there were also a bull run that happen few months later.

If he hodl that long then congrats to him but if not, then he can always try again. He can still catch up buying xrp now that the bear is not over yet. About that xrp issue, I think that was over already and xrp won that case, resulting for it to remain in the exchanges and it value rise after that.
