We should already have an idea before if someone is interested in gambling or not. Inviting some to gamble when they have no passion for it can have a negative impact on our relationships. There is another issue with referring family members, because it gives you insight into their gambling habits. Usually you receive a percentage of the amount your referrals gamble, so you will have a rough idea how much your family deposits and uses for their bets. In my country it's not really common to talk about gambling in detail within the family. My family knows that I like gambling but not how much each month, only my close friends really know how regularly I gamble. To be honest it makes me a bit uncomfortable imagining that my family would know everything. It's better to make sure the people you send the referral link to are really into gambling and are looking for a new casino.
