Fareed celebrated the wicket just in front of Asif, which angered the latter. In the previous ball, Asif had hit him for a six. I thought thta there was nothing wrong with the celebration. But then Asif went overboard that threatened to hit Fareed with the bat.

The commentators were also blaming Asif, saying that he should not resort to physical threats:

Afghanistan players as well as the fans were very disappointed. Some of them were sobbing.

I also almost cried watching it myself like another fan of Afghanistan . Asif was happy when he hit a six but his demeanor changed after he got out. Changing behavior was not a problem. But taking unfortunately decision of bodily harm was very unfortunate. Anyway hope everyone learns a lesson from this and we don't have to see such scenes again in future
