We can say that there's still a connection between CBDCs, crypto and bitcoin. That's what these governments are trying to convey with what they're up to through bringing in CBDCs to their people.
They're making it classy as crypto by making these CBDCs but that's not how the real crypto works and they're just making a new system for their digital system like having e-wallets, credit cards and whatsoever.

I disagree that there is a connection different from the connection the fiat money had with Cryptocurrencies be it Bitcoin or other Altcoins. CBDC is only fiat in e-wallets same as fiat in bank accounts and both are tied to the debit/credit cards no difference but even with all that, it is still centralized as hell and controlled by the Government unlike cryptocurrency.
