It appears that Pakistan lost its way towards the end of both innings, in my opinion. A lot of runs were given away towards the end of the first innings, and they were unable to control the run rate in the second innings either, as they also gave away a lot of runs towards the end of the second innings. I would like to congratulate Sri Lanka on their achievement.

As said there is expectation over India vs Pakistan to meet in the finals, because in the history of Asia Cup this hasn't happened in the finals. Unexpectedly India went out, and Pakistan had a strong chance to win the Cup, but they failed in it. This is something very disappointing performance from Pakistan, because in the previous match they lost in a bad manner and atleast they should've taken this match more seriously. Two straight losses to Sri Lanka is really bad for Pakistan considering the upcoming T20 World Cup.

T20 World Cup win should not be dreamed of Pakistan with such a performance. Pakistan got a chance to play a match with them before the final match where they failed. So they should have taken the final match seriously. The biggest issue is that Pakistan is not keeping pace with Sri Lanka. It can be said that Sri Lanka is performing well and considered as stronger opponent.

There has been more passion shown by Sri Lanka than Pakistan. Sri Lankan team found heroes who stood up to big challenges, and performances that were repeated throughout the campaign. However, Sri Lanka proved to be the best T20 Asian team throughout the tournament, winning the trophy as the best T20 Asian team. Sri Lanka emerged as Asian champions after losing to Afghanistan. Sri Lanka Cricket deserves congratulations.
