Yes, it will be a great match and could be 50/50 fight. I'm seeing a Danny Garcia type fight for Thurman, which he edged when they fought by a Split decision, but it was very close that there are fans who think that Garcia won that fight.
However, that was during Thurman's time, haven't been injured and still undefeated. He did make a comeback against a ballooned 140 lbs in Barrios and fought at 147 lbs. So Ugas might posed a different challenge if ever this two square in the ring and it could go to distance.
I could say Keith Thurman Enjoyed that fight, and that is the 1st fight that Danny Garcia has lost, but I think if these two would fight again, I think Thurman can chase those times that he is not fighting anymore, a few laps and a few rounds on the punching bag training is the only way for Keith Thurman and he will surely be back on shape in no time, for the Danny Garcia fight Thurman is in control of the fight and was dominating the shots but yeah his shots was not impactful for Garcia, and for him to win against Ugas he needs to keep on moving,
It is very possible that the fight between Thurman and Ugas will go a distance. Ugas is somehow a defensive fighter so it would be a challenge for Thurman to crack Ugas' defense. This will be an interesting fight between a boxer that defeated Manny and a Boxer that is defeated by Manny.
Even though Thurman is defeated by Manny, it looks like he will be the crowd favorite between the two.
No one really likes Yordenis Ugas, well I don't know why but there is not much fan base for him, while Keith Thurman pretty much has many people backing him up, for me, Thurman got a chance against Ugas, but yes this would surely go the distance both fighters doesn't have that power punch to TKO win an opponent, with Keith Thurman explosive shots and fast combination so the volume of punches will surely let him win, while Yordenis Ugas has a tendency to counter when he caught his opponent with his defense, but Ugas also is a volume puncher, but overall this is an exciting match to see,
