Does it mean that the said digital currency is going to be transparent, decentralized, and out of government control? Because one of the CBDC features is government control since it's a country digital currency. If being under the etherum layer is going to make Norway develop something different, others will definitely learn from them.
If it is under the government, there will always be some way of control about it.
I don't think they will create their own CBDC as decentralized.
But let us see how they will implement it and how their CBDC will perform in the market.
As every country have their eyes over CBDC, Norway have taken their chance to develop it. In some means it'll be under the control of the government and serve as a digital cash which serves the government to have ease of control than the fiat in circulation. It is said that it won't be accessible with metamask which shows they're developing it privately.
