I was once a Solana believer. Although I still trust Solana to become one of the top rated cryptocurrencies but my trust has lowered because of frequent halts in the blockchain.
Halting a blockchain is definitely not good but I guess it was absolutely necessary for Solana to do it.

I am also a follower of Sol with what it shows, the blockchain network has a fast processing speed with extremely cheap gas fees, it must be said that it is the fastest and cheapest among the layer 1 blockchains that I used. Any new project has a problem at the beginning of development and we can ignore it but sadly, solana has outage 4 times in 2022 alone, and we still don't know if it will happen in the future or not. That's rightly said. Outages are also a hurdle for a new project but halting the blockchain itself is seriously a bad thing which promotes centralization.
For a big project like Solana it has definitely defamed the coin but I hope things become better over time.
Still it is one of the best projects in the top 10 which is a strong reason why investing some amount in it is not a bad idea.
