As for the rig it is not worthy even if someone has free electricity with those Rx 580 cards will do like 0.50 dollars daily in mining ETC which many people are mining now,the same return with many other coins so we should be in study mode now,looking what is going on around and why not grab a few additional cards for really cheap,as prices have fallen down dramatically since after the merge.

Miners will get tired at some point, today the ETH PoW hashrate on poolin have started dropping, those who cant withstand this temporal pain will have to sell their rigs and quiet everything, I like your idea of not selling your rig.
