Yes you are right if you are gonna trade for long-term then it is obvious that you should find a good dip for trade. On the others hand when you came for short-term trader .But on the other hand, in the case of short-term trading, I think professional traders do not care whether the market is high or low, they analyze the candles of the chart well and then trade.

Experienced traders don't care about the current market situation, they are more into how they can take advantage of the situation and find the suited asset to buy for them to get something decent out from the assets that they invested their money.
