He is very good as a player, but there is no guarantee that he will be good as a coach. That's something different in my opinion, because as a coach you need broad thinking, mentality, strategy and much more. I'm not disbelieving that Messi can do that, but so far I haven't seen any signs of it.

Do not forget that Barcelona will not be strengthened by some of its flagship players. This is a consideration for me to say how the strategy of Barcelona when losing key players.
