While you are correct in that it is counterproductive to talk about the past, I think you have a really great perspective on Cristiano Ronaldo joining Bayern Munich and I think you are really right. Since last season, CR7 has been wanting to get out of Manchester United as he has learned that United are not the team that will be able to compete in the Champions League, and he really wants to play in the Champions League. In my opinion, this could be a great option for both parties as Bayern Munich will be able to get a good striker for the next one or two years and Ronaldo will be able to play again in the Champions League.

United is still having a chance to win a ticket to the champion league for the next season as long as this club can consistently winning the match against big club like city. United able to defeat arsenal and it was also able to do the same with city. MU has a big chance to make it happen. We know that if some big clubs like liverpools are starting to face difficult time to get full points in EPL. Remember that menchester city was also loosing against liverpool.
MU has more than enough to enter into the top 4 if the club will not face another lose or bad situation like early season.

I don’t think that this transfer is going to happen, unless Bayern have a new coach in place who badly wants Ronaldo to come and play for them. Furthermore it’ll also depend if Ten Hag wants him on the bench as the season progresses, hence it’s not in Ronaldo’s hand because as far as I know Bayern don’t want him and Ten Hag may not let him leave.
