On what basis are you saying that if Cristiano joined Manchester City he would get the top goalscorer award in the Champions League? I know he is the best player ever, but what you are saying in my opinion is too much and has no basis. However he has decided to rejoin Manchester United, no one can guarantee that if he goes to Manchester City it will be better for his career.
Maybe the performance of the Manchester City team was better, but when it comes to individuals I think it's a different matter.

There is no denying that money is one of the reasons why they are here besides their love of football. But now maybe that priority has changed with what they got so far.
