I think after last year’s insane performance, it was really hard for them to see the real trouble. Benzema is a great player, but he is aging fast, and one day he will become a bad player and there is really not something that they could do to keep him performing at this level. Which means that they will need to get a brand new striker that would make them much better.
Real Madrid should as possible preparing the replacement for Karim Benzema position because I don't think enough one year only how to find great and potential forward. Bad started in this season with Karim Benzema despite injury and last several match got regular position he can't scoring goals although have contribution build team working how to give space for Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr to score goals.
Benzema is the spearhead of Real Madrid whose form was absolutely stunning last season and when Benzema can't play due to injury or other reasons, it will at least affect Real Madrid's performance. I think Carlo Ancelotti has already realized that and most likely he already has targets for the next winter transfer window. If we look at the character of Ancelotti, he will only sign players if the team's performance shows that it is necessary. But considering that Benzema is not young anymore, there will come a time when Real Madrid will be in that situation.
