There are many funny people who end up with something like acting as if they are Elon Musk, or Jeff Bezos or whoever under the tweets with "we are giving away free ETH" and make you click phishing links. The same happens for companies too, they end up with putting links under the replies of rollbit and they may try to trick you as well.

So it is a lot better if you end up being more careful, if you are careful enough then they will not be a problem, but that doesn't mean that it would really is fine, its a terrible thing but it works well for them and it shouldn't really be a big deal at all, its going to be something annoying at worst.

the sad part of it all is that people fall for these scams because they are greedy, for example the person arrives on twitter and sees an ad saying: "elon musk is making a donation, send 0.01 BTC to this address: xxxxxxxxx and you will receive 0.05 BTC " . if it's a donation, why the hell would the person have to send bitcoin? it doesn't make sense, that's the first question people have to ask before falling for these scams and then they have to ask themselves: why would a billionaire say he's making donations and ask for money for people to receive the donations? it makes no sense. I don't understand how people still fall for this kind of scam.
