Mourinho gives the result - he won the Champions League with two different clubs. The fact that he is allegedly eccentric is hardly of concern to someone who looks at football and not at the image or how Mourinho trolls opponents.
I know it, I was a fan of Mourinho. Especially when he managed Inter Milan and got Treble Winner (2009–2010).
But it was many years ago, we must look at the reality of his current achievement. I think there are many other coaches who are better than him. Moreover, if you compare him with Guardiola, surely no reason to claim Mourinho is better to replace him as Man City coach. Only a person like Zidane who deserves to replace Guardiola's position.
Everything you say is unprovable, it's a matter of taste. For example, who would have thought that Zidane is good enough to lead Real Madrid and win the Champions League 3 times in a row? The same goes for the Mourinho-Guardiola comparisons. For example, I don't even consider it proven that Guardiola is a better than average coach - he had prime Barcelona, prime Bayern and prime City (endless budget, most expensive club in the world). Can anyone say that he achieved something special with these clubs? Not even close.
