Having almost certainly been eliminated from the Champions League, Xavi must be able to answer the doubts of the fans with a victory in La Liga dedicated to Barcelona. Xavi has no other choice, he cannot fail again in La Liga or the Europa League if knocked out of the Champions League.

Xavi's performance is still very good in my opinion, even though Barcelona failed in the Champions League but in La Liga he is not certain to fail. Victory over Villarreal keeps their chances of winning the title at the end of the season, Barcelona need to cut three points off Real Madrid and they must be able to overtake Real Madrid at the top of the table.

Still, this will not make them and the fans satisfied, especially in La Liga there is still Madrid, on the other hand they also have definitely lost a lot of money because they failed to qualify in the Champions League round which will certainly have an impact on their financial condition which has always haunted them.
Xavi's performance is still quite good but failing in the Champions League of course this is tarnishing.
