From past history, the second year after a halving of Bitcoin reward, the market tend to crash, creating opportunities for investors to get some coins at a very discounted price. 2022 was no different as it was bad year for investing in cryptocurrency instead you should hold on for confirming before investing.
Tokens you'll buy will be known when the market recover, if you're doing that now then you're just gambling as selected coins could be the ones to go down in price more while the others win..

Yes.. considering that the market is still unstable, then there is no other way we can do other than following the current price. It could also be that what we can do right now is to buy some alt for us to keep, then we resell once the price has improved
