Actually they are on a great series in the EPL at the moment. It might seem like they don't need to bring new players for now because of doing just fine. However this is just the right time for them to make some good signings in fact. The reason is that it must be easier for them to convince some good quality players to sign for them considering their current form in their league. In the end, this kind of players weren't willing to sign for them before because of some uncertainties about this season. Besides, they are trying to keep their good players in the team on one hand. For example, they are preparing a new contract worth £200k a week for Bruno Guimaraes as there is some interest by Chelsea and Real Madrid currently.
