Be it east or west - Parents would want their kids to learns good manners and have good character.
but in doing so parents sometime over protect them they are too inderent of what their kids are doing. This is a different and strange situation people would not be able to learn who to deal with kids and kids would not be able to figure out how to deal with their parents.

I Know I do not learn gambling from my parent which is normal and I hope my children will not join me in playing bets later when the time comes. It is very obvious that children do not have control over gambling which is the reason why they are supposed to be limited to it by all means to avoid big addiction they will not be able to stop.
