My account was hacked - this is obviously a scammy post..not sure if COMM is behind this. It's the only post the attacker made on my account after hijacking.

Such attack is meaningless if you don't have any evidence.
You can create any account with name *****_new in 1 minute.
And you can say ***** hack your account in another minute.
You can attack anyone you want.
That's not a good signal.

Since you have to put your comm address in your profile now, it is even pointless
(now obviously, in the old way, it is better to post the address first on the other forum then validate here telling you have applied...)
