It is logical to see Bivol and Canelo rematch in the light heavyweight division. It is the division where the contract is agreed upon and possibly the rematch clause also includes the same division contest.

We will hear an update about it soon because Bivol didn't disclose any good information regarding their rematch as he's looking forward for a unification and not a rematch in any opponent he had already defeated. And if ever you guys forgot, Canelo can't fight until next year because of the injury he sustained in his wrist.

If I remember it correctly, Bob Arum already agreed to a unification fight considering that Artur Beterbiev will successfully defend his title versus Anthony Yarde and as long as it won't be televised under Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing. For that case, Bob can demand because Beterbiev is on the A-side. Let's just hope that there won't be any serious issues so that we will see a unification fight next year.
