Arteta has said on several occasions that he is currently targeting two trophies this season, either the Premier League or the Europa League. so we don't need to question how determined they are. So far, they have been very impressive in both domestic competition and the Europa League.
I don't expect Arsenal's players who appear to defend their national team in this world cup, not to experience significant problems, let alone the worst case scenario is getting injured, and that will become a serious problem after the league resumes.
IMO, Arsenal are too dependent on some of their players, especially Martin Odegaard. and it is very visible, when Odegaard is absent, it is not uncommon for Arsenal to always have difficulty building attacks to create goal opportunities. however, fortunately Arteta has currently targeted several players to be signed in the upcoming January transfer window.
in particular, midfielders and some other players. and if Arsenal bring in newcomers in January, Arteta doesn't need to worry that his team will run out of ammunition in the middle of the competition.
Arsenal under Arteta are looking very ambitious and determined to complete for major trophies this season, they are currently sitting at the top of the table with 5 points clear off the league's defending champions Manchester city. They will be thankful for the international break which will give opportunity to strengthen the squad again and weakened positions if their be any injuries from the world cup.
Not just under Arteta this season in to say for rwaly they have been extraordinarily shocking with the wins they had at the beginning. Turning the performance the way they started last season to a better one this season.
If they are really serious and means business then they should make some additional players to boost the squad when the premier league begins again, I don't sure they will win Europa league
Yes, you are right. under Arteta, the Gunners were very ambitious and determined to marry two trophies at once this season. although most of Arsenal's retainers are young players. even so, they are really compact. Arteta took Arsenal one step further in terms of mentality, quality and focus. despite the fact that Arsenal are still below the level of Manchester City. However, that doesn't mean they can't win the domestic league title this season.
For the Europa League, Arsenal is one of the strong candidates who will win the trophy in this competition. and Arteta is very well aware, if you only rely on 11 main players, the targeted mission will not be possible to achieve. therefore, in the January 2023 transfer market. Arteta has targeted several talented young players, not only for midfielders who are their target like Danilo who plays in the Brazilian league. Arteta has also targeted several wing attackers and has not forgotten the back line players.
I think this shows that Arteta is really serious about realizing his ambitions. The Gunners are one of our favorite teams. and I am optimistic, Arsenal is able to win this competition title.
