I thought this match would end in a draw. but it turns out that Costa Rica can win this match with a 1 goal advantage. although Japan appeared more attacking in this second half. but it seems their attacks did not produce goals so the final score was 1-0 over Costa Rica's advantage. And now Japan, Spain and, Costa Rica both have 3 points.

Costa Rica secured the victory by a great goal. Japan lost their point, Costa Rica added 3 points to their possession. Costa Rica played much better football than Japan in this match. All the players of the team performed brilliantly due to which they got the victory.

Kudos to Costa Rica for salvaging their much needed win against Japan to put them on track for a possible qualification for the next round although the seven goals conceded against Spain count a lot because of minus six goal deficit, however the outcome of the next match between Spain vs Germany will reveal their true position on the table, if Spain wins that means they will top that group while the runner up will be contested by Costa Rica, Japan, however if Spain lose the group will be opened for all the four countries in the last round for a keenly contested qualification.
