Here's additional explanation about research slide by JEDEC, https://www.pcworld.com/article/427602/debunked-your-ssd-wont-lose-data-if-left-unplugged-after-all.html. In short, the data will be lost quickly after the SSD reached end of life which usually take really long time.
I don't know what is the maximum age for the SSD?. but when read that article, 2 years is the maximum reached. so this is very inconvenient when running the bitcoin wallet is limited at that time and moving to a new SSD when reached maximum after 2 years.

At bare minimum, i expect any SSD will alive as long as it's warranty duration. But personally i still use 5-6 years old SSD to store OS.

HDD isn't that bad, i still use a HDD to run few full node software. Besides, 1TB SSD could be relative expensive on country with high import duty tax or low minimum monthly wage.
Yeah but anyone done any comparison on how long it takes to rebuild the blockchain on spinning disk vs SSD in case your chain get's corrupt? If I need access to my wallet, I don't want to wait 2 weeks lol... Tongue

I doubt it take that long if the HDD is exclusively used to run full node. Although i only could give number to rebuild Bitcoin Testnet or Signet on old 3.5" HDD Roll Eyes.
