this is a very interesting question, in my country female gamblers are considered naughty women, and usually those who gamble openly here are indeed naughty women.

I once asked my male friends what was on their minds when they saw a beautiful woman who was a gambler, and the answers they give differ -
[1]some say that a woman gambler must be an easy girl,
[2]a woman gambler must have family problems, or
[3]some even say when she sees a woman gambling she will ask herself if this woman's family knows she is gambling.

Each country has different state laws and special laws against gambling, in countries where gambling is permitted women there will definitely not experience treatment and questions like this.

in my country - people would not imagine a woman gambling
if she does she does that in private and in hidden and that too is true that it depends on the society as well. I live in fairly conservative society
