Playing in Europe's highest caste is a dream for all clubs. Since being acquired by the Saudi Arabian consortium, Newcastle has slowly begun to show significant changes. Under the tutelage of Eddy Howe this season they are able to compete at the top of the standings. It's amazing that they have been able to appear extraordinary with players who are mediocre so far. Eddy Howe just needs to maintain better teamwork like before the World Cup break. And in my opinion, it's good that Eddy Howe also has to bring in additional players in the January transfer market to strengthen his squad. With the current performance I am very sure, The Maggpies will be able to maintain their position in the top four. And if they are able to finish in the Champions League zone, then the club based in St. James Park will become the new King of the Premier League and Europe.
I admit Newcastle have been strong so far, but one thing - they haven't been able to perform consistently against a top Premier League team. It's still very possible for Newcastle to loss points in big matches, so I haven't seen them like a very promising team in big matches like against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham or Manchester City.
So far, Newcastle have played well, especially since they made it into the top 4 of the Premier League standings in the first half of this season. I don't believe they will be able to continue this positive trend in the second half of the season, so it is very likely that they will drop out of the top 4.
