Playing in Europe's highest caste is a dream for all clubs. Since being acquired by the Saudi Arabian consortium, Newcastle has slowly begun to show significant changes. I admit Newcastle have been strong so far, but one thing - they haven't been able to perform consistently against a top Premier League team. It's still very possible for Newcastle to loss points in big matches, so I haven't seen them like a very promising team in big matches like against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham or Manchester City.

So far, Newcastle have played well, especially since they made it into the top 4 of the Premier League standings in the first half of this season. I don't believe they will be able to continue this positive trend in the second half of the season, so it is very likely that they will drop out of the top 4.
