He might not play the next T-20 WC but let's switch the format as ODI WC is coming and Look at his ODI numbers and amount of 100s he scored in this format.
Scoring a ton when team needs is was his forte which he forgot after 2019.
By this logic, every batter in ODI history should've been written off as no one even comes close to Kohli when scoring tons in a winning cause.
In 2019 and 2020 he averages 47-ish and 43 respectively. That's a pipe dream for the majority of batters in limited overs cricket.
The problem with Virat (according to fans) is his peak moments were way too good and by those standards, even his 40-45 averages look bad for him but it doesn't mean that he's losing his mojo.
