I have heard about making fun with animals in many places, but I did not know about organizing gambling by creating artificially pampering situations with them. But the world is diverse. Moreover, various types of tools can be used for gambling. But there is no meaning in gambling with the threat of life.

I very much agree with this.

Way back, I was really oblivious about the abuse on animals because I just don't mind about something that doesn't concern me. But on my formative years, I learned how to be empathetic and being one doesn't necessarily mean you are weak or you are emotional. In gambling, it shouldn't really be about fighting off animals amongst themselves who can't even give consent.

Cock fighting often results to death. Not only it damages the game cock for some time, but it is really fatal. And I don't think it's ever justifiable to have an animal killed by thinking of surviving by fighting off their own kind just for the sake of bets.
