I think to eliminate the possibility of someone hacking or otherwise gaining access to his account and running impersonation scams.
That's true theymos banned the account to avoid any unwanted login attempts, same thing he did with Lauda's account on his request.
Done. Lauda is banned in the same way as satoshi, such that it isn't possible to even log into the account anymore.
