They maybe are the worst team per record but Lakers aren't the best team either. Pistons IMO is a competitive team because they don't lose by a huge margin, in fact, they beat the Heat which is also a good team. Pistons versus Lakers was a really interesting match. Bogdanović tried his best to have a result in favor of the Pistons. But he did not have much support. His team tried, but one man can only do so much.

But on the other hand, Lakers had a really good performance and the individual performance of LeBron, James, and Anthony Davis, really helped the Lakers to have a good score. And Russell Westbrook is also finding good chemistry with the team. He did not get many points, but he was effectively moving the ball. Anthony Davis was really good with 34 points and 15 rebounds in this game.

And it took him time to take his shot in the last possession, took him a lot of dribbles and then he will just pass it in the last second. He was well defended and if I'm not mistaken it was Pat Bev who is in front of him. He could have made the game exciting if he hits that three at it will cut the Lakers lead into 2.

As usual, it was Davis again, probably the numbers he is putting is similar when they won the championship back in 2019. I'm not saying that they will be the champion again, but he is putting statistics as if he is still in his prime or not prone to injuries.
