Even if Croatia would have done all they could to hold Argentina down to penalties at the end of Extra time, that penalty awarded changed everything it changed it all entirely.
Croatians came out attacking looking to recall Argentina back to make it a tie but that opened them up and Argentina utilized the chances they had.
The Second goal of the game was brilliance from Alvarez and the third was brilliance from Lionel Messi who dribbled and created that chance for Alvarez to score.
