Probably, although actually grasping why Bitcoin was created is probably beyond a lot of investors. I don't think most of the investors are in Bitcoin because they fundamentally support why it was created. They're in it because it has proven in the past to make a lot of swings. I think that's the reality that we're facing unfortunately.
If people grasped why it was created in the first place, they'd probably be far more than speculative investors, and likely turn into advocates for Bitcoin.
There's definitely some truth into that, but it's definitely not 100% the case. I'm personally a huge fan of Bitcoin, but I in no way promote it to people I know. Mostly due to the fact that I don't want my friends to lose money due to ignorance and market inexperience, and due to opsec reasons.
