Some gamblers could be lucky and good at gambling but the majority of the gamblers are actually losing money, which makes the operators profitable. That's true. No one can escape the house's edge. It's too obvious not to see but gamblers usually don't mind. As long as there's a window of opportunity to make some money with just simply guessing or analyzing the game then it will be worth the bet.
Years ago, I spend too much time trying to analyze a dice game, but there was just no good strategy there unless you have deep pockets (martingale), unlike in sports there's so much room to win a bet than in dice where it's usually luck-based or system based.

We can always try, it's very inspiring to know that there are gamblers who make a living in gambling, so it's just normal for a gambler to aim for more other than entertainment which is the original purpose. I know there are some people who are successful in gambling, but their numbers will not make gamblers lose in their business, they will still continue to be profitable and their industry will grow as time passes.
