Before this World Cup, Argentina played with Messi only once in the 2014 final against Germany and lost.

Argentina's win brought me so much joy. When France almost snatched the cup from Argentina with their equalizing goal in the second half i was wondering if the 23 years old Mbappé will have to win the world cup two times in a roll without any opposition but was delighted when the penalty shoot ended in favour of Argentina and finally Messi won the only cup he hasn't won in his career he can even decide to retire anytime soon.

I was never in support of France and Argentina in this year's world cup, but as fate would have it, the best teams met. And on that day, I knew that Argentina had a better chance to win, yet my favourite of the day was France for personal reasons. It was they (France) that did not have the zeal and determination that Argentina had, and that's what cost them the cup.
Had it been that they've been serious from the beginning, there wouldn't have been a penalty shootout. Conclusively, both teams were fantastic.

I was a supporter of Argentina in this World Cup. I supported this team only because of Messi. Even so, before the start of the World Cup my guess was that Brazil was the favorites to win the title. Because they have a lot of star players in their squad. Unfortunately they could not win the title. They lost against Croatia. Overall Argentina's team was not very strong but they managed to win the title. Coach Scaloni's match strategy is absolutely commendable.

I agree that Brazil had the best players at this World Cup, but that doesn't necessarily mean they had the best team.

Definitely all teams are strong like Brazil and Germany and France but this time some new teams emerged on football horizon as strong ones like morocco and Argentina and they came with dream of winning the trophy. Morocco tried their best but cant win this but they have achieved alot in this world cup.

Argentina from start have been very passionate and determined for the trophy and Messi literally left no stone unturned for this .
