Before answering your question, I would like to ask you 1 thing, what makes you think 2023 is a bullish year? Because if it weren't for a bull year, no coin would be hyped, even if it was bitcoin. So if you can be sure that next year will be a bullish year, we can discuss with you which project you mentioned will be hyped. But no matter what 2023 will look like, I still recommend focusing on bitcoin from now on rather than any altcoins.
Well I don't necessarily think of 2023 as a bullish year (like 2021 was). But I do think that the crypto market, like most other markets, will form a bottom and after that there will be a long sideway / slightly bullish / slightly bearish market that can last for years before we see a considerable bullish market again.
I'm not hugely excited about 2023, but might invest a bit if the prices hit my targets.
Always try to avoid hype. Because hype is limited for a certain time and goes away very quickly. So if you wait for the hype or invest in believing the hype then you will never achieve anything big. So invest there which will give you profit in long run. It can bring you something big. Hype can't do that Hype may or may not return you a large amount in a short period of time, but it is highly unlikely because you never know when the hype will come and go. It will only fool you
I agree with your points.
Hype is only a factor, out of 100 factors you consider when investing. And it mostly works if you think short time (which I probably do). But remember, it's not insignificant. Learn to use it properly, and you can take advantage of its power.
