You still see him as the 27-year-old Ronaldo. He's not that guy anymore and if you do not accept it then you only lying to yourself. What he knows how to do right now is to score goals, and even at that there are dozens of players that know how to score goals better than him. It's normal for these things to happen. His refusal to accept his fact is why he sees a problem with being on the bench. Old players get relegated to the bench at that point of their career, it's not new. Ibrahimovic at AC Milan comes in from the bench and he plays his role to help the team.

Ronaldo is one of the best players in his generation. There's no doubt in that. However, the problem is his attitude because he won't admit that he is too old to be the most important player in the team. I'm talking about national team and in a club. There are many younger players that can and will replace him.
