As I said, your idea will definitely attract some of your customers to pay you in bitcoins for a 10% discount. I really think it's a good strategy to increase the number of your customers to use bitcoin as a means of payment, and it's a good idea to limit it to an entire month only.
If I were you, I might also consider some other crypto with less volatility instead of bitcoin. Honestly someone out there is too honest to say these bitcoin fluctuation are scary, and they are reluctant to buy them and keep them other than as an investment.
You make a good argument, its always a good option to diversify although Im not into alts, I think they are far more volatile than bitcoin. Choosing a stable coin is not a easy choice, USDT, BUSD, USDC are scary to me because I worry they may lose their peg.
I've learned many inspiring stories about Nigeria on this forum. It seems that there are many small businesses there, and entrepreneurs quite often try to adopt Bitcoin one way or another, despite shaky governmental attitude to it. This is yet another inspiring story. I personally think it's especially cool that you accept Bitcoin now, even though the vast majority of your customers are women who aren't familiar with Bitcoin. This creates a good ground to empower Nigerian women, educate them on using Bitcoin (in case customers express interest, of course), as well as promote the usage of Bitcoin more generally. I think that as time passes, you will certainly have Bitcoin sales. Good luck in 2023!
I think there are more entrepreneurs in Nigeria than civil workers. Getting a white collar job in Nigeria is hard despite your qualifications so most of us have chosen to be our own boss and creating multiple streams of income. Thats the way to survive in Nigeria. I think you are right, its my responsibility to share my knowledge. From now on, Im creating a group for working women who want to learn bitcoin. It will be good to have more women in bitcoin.
