I think this is the best answer really.

Bitcoin is private property, and whoever has the keys has access to it.

People can change in the future, and even if you think you know someone today, that person might be completely different in a decade for example.

You can be in a really bad situation in the future if you share all your private things with someone else.

I guess you're both unmarried and you've never had the feeling of completely trusting someone. Being husband and wife, means that both of them have become one, tribulation or happiness will be overcome together. But if you are a married person it will be interesting because even your wife, you do not believe. I wouldn't be surprised if she has a bigger secret than your bitcoins and she's hiding from you.
