Based on the statistics in the last 20 matches, Tottenham's defense is indeed problematic because they have conceded more than 30 goals in 20 matches. Tottenham are conceding an average of 1.55 goals per game and that is only 9 goals less than their total conceded during last season in the Premier League. It's clear that their defense has been verry bad this season and Conte should expect some improvement in his side's defense for the rest of the season.

Even though Tottenham have brought in 3 defenders this season, their defense looks really bad. Cristian Romero, Clément Lenglet, Djed Spence are the 3 defenders with the same goal that Tottenham have signed over the course of the season but it seems their performances haven't had a great impact in defence.
