Yes that's correct. actually Chelsea need a striker who is sharper, Joao Felix has not been able to answer that. even on his first debut, he was suspended for a red card. Kai Havertz, unreliable, Auba, not showing his sharpness. after all, he'll be leaving next summer. while the other strikers, do not have a clear future. however Potter had no other choice but to make use of the available strikers, perhaps because of that the name Osimhen emerged in response to the team's need for a pure forward.

Even so, there are several clubs that want the services of this Napoli striker. Rumor has it that Napoli will release Oshimen next season and the club at the forefront is United. and if that's true, I think Oshimen would prefer United over playing for Chelsea. it's just that, the problem is, Napoli will sell Oshimen at a fantastic price.

Honestly, at this point, I do not know which player is going to want to go to Chelsea. Because right now going to Chelsea is basically playing with your future. Chelsea cannot perform well right now even though they do have a decent squad right now. Yes, I get that, they do not have a great striker. But they are still not as bad of a team as they are making it look with their results right now.

Osimhen is basically on top of his game right now. Why is he going to want to go to Chelsea when he can land a far better deal for his future? I do not see any reason for him to go to Chelsea. At least if he cares about his career.

As it is now Graham Potter will find it difficult in selecting his first eleven considering the numbers of player at his disposal for selection, a whooping seventeen players were signed in the summer and January transfer window and it very obvious selecting a winning team will be a huge task for the manager because of its star-studded squad, meanwhile the team still lack a complete number 9 striker, the likes of Abumeyang and Havertz hadn't live up to expectations probably that is why the club is eyeing victor Osimen to fill that role, I am very sure many Chelsea players will leave in the summer to other clubs due not having enough playing time
