A gambler may not have savings due to a variety of reasons. Gambling can be addictive and the thrill of winning big can lead to excessive spending and a lack of self-control. Additionally, if a gambler consistently loses more than they win, it can lead to financial difficulties and an inability to save. Gambling can also be an expensive activity, with some individuals spending a significant portion of their income on betting and games. Furthermore, the temptation to chase losses and try to win back money that has been lost can also result in further financial strain. It is important for gamblers to be aware of their spending habits and to engage in gambling responsibly in order to avoid negative financial consequences.
so that's it, if a gambler is lucky to get a big win from gambling, of course his lifestyle will change and spend more money for everyday life. I mean if a gambler earns a lot of money from gambling, he usually has a more elite lifestyle like buying expensive food, clothes or something that is expensive as if like a rich person.
because the money that is obtained the easy way, usually will also run out quickly.
therefore if a gambler who earns big money from gambling but cannot control his finances, of course the money will run out quickly and the lifestyle is used to expensive things. so that gamblers will not be able to set aside money to save.

not to mention if the gambler gets a losing streak at gambling, he will never have the thought of saving, but thinking of getting money to gamble to catch up with his losses.
