Not forum moderator any member of the forum can give merits to other user for the post he likes or consider useful.For every two merits you earn on the forum you get one smerit which you can give it to others or in other words you have can send half of the merits you have received.For example if you earn 10 merits you earn 5 smerits which you can send to others.

You have to make effective contributions to the forum like make quality posts or take part in healthy discussions over here and if anybody likes your post or thread and consider it merit worthy you will automatically get it but this way asking for help won't be beneficial instead learn and gain knowledge about bitcoin with time.
