Replace by fee (RBF): If your wallet supports RBF, you can replace the unconfirmed transaction with a new transaction that has higher fees. This will make the original transaction invalid, and the new transaction will replace it.
Not only the wallet support RBF, the transaction itself
must have RBF flag enabled. And this won't help OP either since he stated he's the receiver.
Wait for the mempool to clear: If the mempool is congested, you may need to wait for some time for the transaction to be confirmed. Once the mempool clears, your transaction may be included in a block.
Currently there are ~64 vMB worth of unconfirmed transaction, so it'll take at least half day (assuming nobody create transaction in half day).
Which leads me to another question
How do each of you choose fees if you're not in a rush?
Usually i'd just follow mempool.space recommendation or make sure fee rate for my transaction is somewhere between top 10%-60%.
