One question for you c0ldbrewz, since you said that you don't know much about monero, who exactly asked for payment for your work to be sent in XMR instead of BTC or some other coin?
I have to confess that this question also popped into my mind.
I actually made some digging on this matter. And the results are... how to say... fascinating. Apparently, saxydev made another "Houdini move" when he sent the payment to c0ldbrewz, as
he managed to pay without having a XMR wallet
At least this is what I can understand from this sentence, which I found in the other topic:
I am not going to pay you anything more. What I am going to is next 48 hours [...] to install a monero wallet and share the secret key with the txd.
Since the
active businessman scammer said he will install a XMR wallet, this means he did not have one, right? Then taking into consideration that there are infinitesimal chances for him to delete a XMR wallet just after paying to c0ldbrewz (as he would not have any reason to do that), we conclude that he made the payment on Monero network without having a wallet, which is, again, pure magic. Fabulous! Am I missing something here?
