That's an interesting suggestion. I think the main difficulty would be to come up with the right sort of tasks, i.e. such that the task is hard but easy to verify. I'm no expert in number theory, so I don't know if there are efficient proofs for a number being prime (more efficient than finding one). I assume you don't want to go with one of the algorithms that just prove a number is prime "with high probability". The next difficulty probably would be coming up with a good economic model for the game, so it doesn't follow the typical hype-and-crash of play-to-earn games.

But all in all, if you can solve the design issues, it is probably not too hard to implement in Xaya.

The tasks could be for example

1) Find a prime in a 'high value' space, in other words a space that supposedly is within a prime gap. That would pay a huge amount.

2) A scientifically important task would be letting the user shift what variables determine the three axis or dimensions. The video shows a simple set of axis or axises or whatever, but if a user could plug in 'x axis = distance from zero in integers, y axis = distance from zero in primes, and the third axis = something from the imagination of the person playing' then eventually a lot of constants from physics and chemistry etc may become relatable which might be meaningful to future scientists. If a person found axis that meaningfully made primes more useful then that would pay an astronomical prize something like 1% of the coin supply if they generated a response from mathematician types.

3) Creating a bot that could comb space to find various things more efficiently than players using less advanced bots.

The most important aspect is that bots have to be made an integral part of the game, but the edge generally has to be with individuals, even if bots rule for a short time every now and then. You and snailbrain never solved the bot problem with huntercoin otherwise it would have replaced bitcoin as ai became more public. If Xaya can be used to incentivize bots in a context where they can never dominate for long then you could help shift the public away from dangerous fake ai, i.e., 'imitating humans' to real ai i.e., producing real intelligence through a network.

As a side note, I forget what your website is but a few years ago it was on Google's shitlist and basically unreachable for a user in the U.S. I don't know if its still like that but maybe it's a good sign you are working on something useful.
