Yeah i find this a difficult concept. I definitely see it as a source of profit because what would be other reasons any site would have have it? What's the difference of being a feature and source of income?
People wouldn't use faucets as source of income years ago even though they paid good money in these days standard.

I only see it being abused when it's done by bots, not by poor users clicking it daily.

You are underestimating how much money is required in many low income nations. I have heard of nations where you can live with 30-40 dollars a month, not a good living, but survive nevertheless, and that's an important part of why we are seeing these people.

I am not saying these are not bots, of course it's mostly bots, but I have seen people who farm these things, like 10+ different phones, and 10+ different faucets they could use, or any other free coin giving thing, and they would do it everyday like it's a job and would make like maybe 100 bucks a month from it, which is good enough to live a above poverty level life. So it's really sad, but it's unfortunately true that some of it could be humans.
