On earlier posts, it's already mentioned it's possible to setup mempool.space only with Bitcoin Core[1]. Guide from citadels.org assume you already run Electrum server since the author wrote this line.

Those directions are: Change the line that says MEMPOOL_BACKEND: none change none to electrum
